Yakima Chief Hops invites you to attend a crash course in Hop Sensory Evaluation. This presentation covers the key elements of a successful sensory program; from developing a hop lexicon to training panellists. You’ll learn how YCH leverages sensory data for quality assurance as well as research and development. Participants will learn about methods for evaluating hops in their own breweries and put their knowledge into practice as they smell a wide array of hop varieties from the US.
